General Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CAE/Simulation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions for various products through effective execution of CAE analyses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in explicit nonlinear dynamic Finite Element Modelling and Finite Element Analysis and will be proficient in using HYPERWORKS or LS-PrePost or ABAQUS-CAE as a pre/post-processor and LS-DYNA or ABAQUS/explicit as the solver.

- Conduct various types of nonlinear dynamic analyses [geometric, material, contact etc.] using the explicit approach at the subsystem and system levels to evaluate the structural performance of the same.
- Develop finite element models using HYPERWORKS or LS-PrePost or ABAQUS-CAE for meshing and apply suitable boundary conditions to set up the model for analysis.
- Use LS-DYNA or ABAQUS/explicit to carry out non-linear dynamic explicit analysis.
- Post-process simulation results using HYPERWORKS or LS-PrePost or ABAQUS-CAE and come up with design solutions to meet performance targets.
- Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing simulation results and conclusions.
- Correlate simulation results with experimental data to effectively guide the product development process.
- Actively participate in product development process at the project level, providing technical expertise and insights based on the FEA results
- Collaborate with engineers from other departments to understand design requirements and integrate simulation results into the development process.
- Develop and maintain simulation libraries and templates to streamline the simulation process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in linear analysis techniques and software tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in carrying out explicit non-linear dynamic analysis using HYPERWORKS or LS-PrePost or ABAQUS-CAE as pre/post processor and LS-DYNA or ABAQUS/explicit as the solver.
- Strong interest in Finite Element Modelling and Finite Element Analysis
- Strong understanding of various types of non-linear dynamic analysis principles.
- Should have experience in the automotive or construction equipment industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong technical written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
