General Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CAE/Simulation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions for various products through effective execution of CAE analyses. The ideal candidate should have good Finite Element Modelling and Finite Element Analysis experience and should be proficient in using HyperWorks as a pre/post-processor and ABAQUS/OptiStruct/Nastran as a solver.

Special Requirements - Preferred US Citizenship or Green Card

  • Conduct modal and frequency response analyses at the component, subsystem, and system levels to evaluate the dynamic performance of the same.
  • Develop finite element models using HyperWorks covering meshing and apply suitable boundary conditions to set up the model for analysis.
  • Develop finite element models using HyperWorks covering acoustic models meshing and apply suitable boundary conditions to set up the model for acoustic analysis.
  • Use ABAQUS/OptiStruct/Nastran to carry out modal and frequency response analysis.
  • Use ABAQUS/OptiStruct/Nastran to carry out modal and direct response analysis
  • Post-process simulation results using Hyperworks and come up with design solutions to meet performance targets. Also identify scope for optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing simulation results and conclusions.
  • Correlate simulation results with experimental data to effectively guide the product development process.
  • Actively participate in product development process at the project level, providing technical expertise and insights.
  • Collaborate with engineers from other departments to understand design requirements and integrate simulation results into the development process.
  • Develop and maintain simulation libraries and templates to streamline the simulation process.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in carrying out linear statics and normal modes analysis using Hyperworks as pre/post processor and ABAQUS/OptiStruct/Nastran as the solver. Having ANSA skills would be additional qualifications
  • Strong understanding of modal analysis and providing solutions based on modal analysis results
  • Strong understanding of frequency response VTF and NTF analysis and principles.
  • Should have experience in the automotive or construction equipment industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
