General Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician with at least 5 years of experience in electrical panel wiring and machine wiring. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working on electric panels for welding fixtures and possess a strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams. Expertise in troubleshooting electrical panels, particularly those involving PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems, is essential.

Electrical Panel Wiring for Welding Fixtures:

  • Perform wiring of electrical panels specifically designed for welding fixtures, ensuring all connections are secure and meet industry standards.
  • Ensure the proper installation of components within the panels, including breakers, relays, contactors, and other control devices.

Machine Wiring:

  • Carry out the electrical wiring of machines, ensuring all connections are properly insulated, terminated, and labeled according to the project specifications.
  • Verify the functionality of machine wiring by conducting tests and troubleshooting as needed.

Electrical Diagram Interpretation:

  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to execute the wiring and installation of electrical systems accurately.
  • Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in electrical diagrams before and during installation.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues within panels and machine wiring, utilizing tools and techniques to quickly identify faults.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on electrical panels and machine wiring, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently and safely.

PLC and HMI Systems:

  • Work with PLC and HMI panels, ensuring correct wiring, and functionality of these systems within the electrical control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring related issues, related to PLCs and HMIs, .

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following all company safety protocols and guidelines.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of wiring configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide detailed reports on completed work, including any issues encountered and resolved.

Experience:

  • A minimum of  5 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel wiring and machine wiring, with a focus on welding fixtures.
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical panels, particularly those involving PLC and HMI systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Basic understanding of PLC and HMI systems, including their wiring, basic programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in the use of electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.

Problem-Solving:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly and effectively identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Education:

  • A diploma or certification in electrical engineering, industrial electronics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant licensing or certification as an electrician is a plus.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including tight spaces, and at heights if necessary.
  • Capability to lift and move electrical components and equipment as required.
