General Summary
We are seeking three skilled and experienced Hydraulic/Pneumatic Fitters with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidates will be proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic piping, and fault finding, and have a solid understanding of Hydraulic Powerpacks and circuits. The ability to perform precise installations and troubleshoot issues is essential for this role.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Installation:

  • Assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems according to technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Ensure all components, such as pumps, cylinders, valves, and actuators, are correctly installed and function as intended.

Piping and Tubing:

  • Perform hydraulic and pneumatic piping, ensuring all connections are secure, leak-free, and meet industry standards.
  • Cut, bend, and fit tubing or piping, ensuring the correct alignment and integration with other system components.

Hydraulic Powerpack and Circuit Management:

  • Work with Hydraulic Powerpacks, including their assembly, installation, and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, ensuring proper configuration and integration within the system.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hydraulic circuits to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.

Fault Finding and Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues within hydraulic and pneumatic systems, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults.
  • Repair or replace faulty components to restore system functionality and prevent recurrence of issues.

System Testing and Commissioning:

  • Conduct tests on hydraulic and pneumatic systems after installation or repair to ensure proper operation.
  • Adjust settings and components as necessary to achieve optimal performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during operations.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on completed work, including recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including piping and fault finding.
  • Proven experience with Hydraulic Powerpacks and circuits, including installation and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in hydraulic and pneumatic piping, including the ability to cut, bend, and install tubing.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve issues within hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Problem-Solving:

  • Excellent analytical skills to diagnose complex hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Education:

  • A diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and components as required.
  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including tight spaces and elevated positions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and system advancements.
